Strawberry Flats is a grassy old timey band born from the Central Texas Bluegrass community. Founding members Hannah (raised by wolves in the Mississippi Delta native) and Tony (raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin) bonded over a shared love of coffee and roots music. The band also includes fellow Wisconsinite Kyle Smith on mandolin, bonafide Texan Noah Griffin on banjo, and Lenny Nichols, also a Texas native, on upright bass.

They've been described as  “darling and old-timey,” and they prefer that over sticking to a one-lane genre. They blend bluegrass, old-time, classic country, and a touch of punk. Their debut album, “Home Cookin’,” recorded in a home studio, features original songs exploring all the things you expect from a grassy band… love, loss, drinkin', the works. They recently ventured into the real, non-home studio at YellowDOG in New Braunfels and recorded some live-tracked originals and covers.
